Hello, my name is Jo.
I am a Children's Librarian with the Adelaide Hills Council Library Service and a PhD
student at the University of South Australia.
I am passionate about children with special needs, their families, literacy and public libraries.
I love public libraries and the role they play in the lives of people. I have worked in this field for over 20 years and still feel blessed to be able to work with wonderful children,
families and fantastic picture books. Is there really any better job?
When I am not working or studying you will find me crocheting, quilting or reading. I also
attend the gym up to five days a week in an endeavour to maintain my energy levels.
Together with my family and curly coat retriever dogs my days are full and fun.
